Pole pockets are an alternative method of hanging and displaying a vinyl banner. In short a pole pocket allows you to slide a pole through the length or the height of the banner. One of the most common uses of a pole banner is in a parade. Often people will purchase a vinyl banner with pole pockets on the top and bottom. Slide the pole through the banner leaving enough on each end for two people to hold while walking. Put a shorter pole in the bottom for weight. If you are looking for avenue banners pole pockets are also used in those cases on the top and bottom. With all of our signs the pole pockets are added to the total size. So if you get a 36" tall banner your banner will actually arrive to you 39" tall.
